Climbing at Sheepstor

The Climbing center that we take our children to has organised several days out to real rocks on Dartmoor, today we are off to Sheepstor, we are taking the camper van so we can have a cup of tea while the kids climb. Quite easy to get to, all meeting up at Burrator Reservoir just down the road and then off to the Tor. Off they went to setup on the crag and we had tea and a quick bite to eat, by the time we go to the rock they were in full swing, ropes and climbers all over

Go Karting – MSA Test

The MSA test consists of 2 parts, a multiple choice written test and an observation of how the driver is doing on the track. After a few weeks of practice sessions the lap times were falling, the aim was to do a lap in approx 1min. Suddenly the times dropped from 1:06 to 1:01, time to book the test. The first step is to buy the test pack from the MSA, this contains a book, dvd and forms to complete. Next, the test has to be booked at the circuit. The day of the test has arrived, the morning was

Looking at the freelance market I found PeoplePerHour.com, registered and have won some work through it. An of

Vegetable Growing 2017

In an Earlier Post we discussed the repair of the raised beds and the initial planting of vegetable seeds. We have had our first crop of Potatoes and Cabbage, very nice and the kids even ate some of the cabbage. The greenhouse produced great plants that went out into the raised beds, Beetroot, Cabbage, Little Gen Lettuce, Pumpkins, Spinach and Runner Beans. Some veg was planted directly into the soil, Onions and Potatoes.                 Currently we have 4 Cucumber plants and 4 Sweet Pepper plants growing in the Greenhouse. A new raised bed
