Birthday Weekend at Sandymouth Bay

It was our sons birthday and he wanted to take a few friends to a swimming and soft play party at a local holiday park, we arranges the party and then thought it would be nice to go and stay for the weekend. A few days in Scotland for a family memorial

100 Years ago my wife’s great grandfather died in the first world war. The family are commemorating the centenary of the death of the Rev. John Davis, minister of Buittle parish church, who died on 22 July 1917 on active service with the Royal Army Medical Corps in Mesopotamia. A service of remembrance is being held on 29th July 2017, this date fits around family commitments.
