Go Karting – MSA Test

The MSA test consists of 2 parts, a multiple choice written test and an observation of how the driver is doing on the track.

After a few weeks of practice sessions the lap times were falling, the aim was to do a lap in approx 1min. Suddenly the times dropped from 1:06 to 1:01, time to book the test.

The first step is to buy the test pack from the MSA, this contains a book, dvd and forms to complete. Next, the test has to be booked at the circuit.

The day of the test has arrived, the morning was spent in sessions on the track the the tester watching on, he told us he was happy with the way they were all driving so on with the written test. Great timing as it started to rain.

30 mins later and the test certificate has been issued, we can go racing next weekend.
