Silverstone 6hr World Endurance Race Weekend
Last year we went to Silverstone for the Formula 1 Race, it was ok but very expensive for what you got. The camping was great, we booked a pre-pitched tent.
This year we booked to go and see the World Endurance Championship, much better value, only £50 for an Adult weekend ticket and children under 16 are free, camping at the woodlands site was £30 per adult for the weekend and £10 per child, the campsite has proper toilets, hot showers and washing up facilitates.

So, for the £50 ticket what did we get…3 days access to the track, paddock access, grandstand access, pitlane walks and autograph sessions. That’s great value.
The Autograph session was packed, lots of people trying to get Alonso and Button, we went for Jenson Button and succeeded, then we got a lot of the smaller teams, thank you all for your time doing the session, my lad really enjoyed it.
The racing at Silverstone was great, along with the WEC races there were 3x F3 races and European Endurance Championship races as well.
